Four studies of typographic hierarchies with constraints on typeface, size, weight, width, and graphic elements. Using Sheila de Bretteville’s Design Lecture Series information, I experimented with both spatial (indent, line spacing, placement, column structure) and graphic (size, weight, style, color) cues to support and reinforce the meaning of the text.
